Cardboard Toys - FAQs

What do Edo cardboard toys come with?

Each set of Edo cardboard toys has everything you and your children need to start building.

The cardboard bricks toys start out as flat sheets of durable corrugated cardboard. You can have fun while assembling the sheets into building blocks!

You've got two colour options, Havana or White, so pick whichever one your children fancy more. They might decide to get out the colouring pencils to add some more colour!

Depending on which cardboard toy you buy, it'll come with just the right number of sheets you need, as well as clever junctions to help stitch the blocks together. Some sets also come with fun stickers or accessories, so you can create features such as animal faces or a coat of arms.

Concerned that you might get lost? Don't worry, each kit comes with an instruction sheet. Between that and your children's imagination, you've got everything you need to set up your cardboard toys!

Simple but sturdy, you can use Edo blocks to build any kind of construction - whatever your children's creativity can come up with! Robots or rhinos, a cardboard cubby house or a castle, everything is easy with Play Edo.

How to make toys with cardboard

Who knew you had so many endless possibilities with toys made from cardboard? If you're wondering how to make a DIY cardboard box toy house, it's easier than you think, and tonnes of fun for all the family.

Each Edo block comes as a flat sheet of corrugated cardboard, which needs to be assembled into the block shape. There are two types of blocks that you can build: single and double. Once build, the single block is 12x12x8 cm, while the double brick is 24x12x8 cm.

After you've assembled the blocks, your children can use them however they like. The blocks are held together by junctions, which are also included in the Edo kit. Each kit comes as a complete set, with the right number of sheets as well as the junctions to hold the blocks together.

Once you’re done with your cardboard construction toys, you can create a bookshelf to keep your room and other toys organised or you can build a toy container to tidy up the room or even a wall. We know you’re busy looking after your family, so we’ve kept the clean-up simple for minimal hassle.

Are Edo cardboard toys eco-friendly?

Is a DIY cardboard box toy house safe for kids?

Don't let the name fool you. DIY cardboard box toy houses are very tough and durable, and yet still lightweight.

They won't rip or crush so easily, but they're strong enough to hold weight. Want to ride on your pony, or sit in your chair, or live in your cardboard cubby house? No matter what you've built with your Edo blocks, our cardboard construction toys won't let you down.
